Cape Cod

 

I went to Cape Cod in Boston. This is a photo I took while taking a tour with a tour in the dunes of Cape Code. The tour was quite educational.

When the Europeans first came to Cape Cod, they had to build houses. So they cut down tress and as a result the thin layer of soil got loose and was blown of the peninsula.
 
In an attempt to reverse the damages the first colonists did, volunteers planted grasses, so that wind won't be moving the sand. This allowed more plants to grow. Now the plants on the island diversified beyond only grasses.

shooting range

  shells collected after going to a shooting range in Boston. The smaller one is 9mm. The larger one is .38 special. We invited a stranger (right of the image) on the street to a shooting range because there has to be at least two adults. The cost per person was 100$. Such a lucky day for him basically getting paid to play...  My friend Yunhao shooting an AR9. It has the exact same feature as an AR15. However it is only semi automatic because the state law is very strict on full auto weapons.

fish

On last Sunday when we returned from sea fishing a seal smelled our goods. He wanted a part of our fish. And indeed we gave him some This is a video of me and friends on our way to fishing. The crew on the boat was very friendly. However, the engine of the boat produce a very high pitch noise. My friend and his fish. The fish was big and strong, it took the two of us to get it up on the boat. We were really in luck when fishing that afternoon. In two and a half hours we had over 15 bites and caught 6 fishes, 4 of which we released
